QUEST: EVERYBODY WANTS TO HAVE A CAT

Mister Abe has no money to offer. He's a quaint man living a peaceful, quiet life. Unfortunately, ever since his wife's passing, he's been having trouble looking after the ten cats she left in his care. They're desperately in need of brushing and playtime, and most importantly… litter cleaning. In fact, the whole house could use cleaning.

He doesn't expect too many volunteers to step up to this task, and he doesn't begrudge anyone for it. He only hopes that his wife knows that he's doing his best to look after the cats that she loved so much.

REWARD: Lowered blood pressure from petting cats.

QUEST: ONE IS THE LONELIEST NUMBER

Love Love Matchmaking is looking to promote their services! They're looking for brand ambassadors to help them spread their message that ♥love is right around the corner♥! Ambassadors will be paired up (or throupled+ up!) and asked to engage in couple activities around Crane City and promote Love Love Matchmaking to whomever they come across.

It's just fake dating, but ambassadors better really sell the act! The owners of Love Love Matching are savvy in both romance and business.

REWARD: A month's supply of chocolates! As well as chocolates in your ON world inbox that can either heal or inflict one status effect for 3 hours.

QUEST: FLIGHT OF THE DRILBEE

Large insect specimens named Drilbees have escaped the Silly Beez Lab during the storm and must be returned to Professor Phila. If you get stung, you will feel extremely feverish for the next 24 hours (effects do not stack even if you are stung multiple times). If you are stung by a rare mutation of this specimen, the Luminous Drilbee... you will feel extremely amorous for the next 24 hours. 😳 (Can be horny, or simply platonic affection.)

These insects are extremely hostile and aggressive by nature, however there are a few ways to retrieve them:

1. Gather flowers that they like. (Surprise! PDA flowers again!!!) Blue Chamomile will be the most effective in calming the Drilbees. Other flowers work too, but if you accidentally offer a flower they are not partial to, such as the Evening Tulip with its dark-colored petals, they will become extra agitated.
   
2. The classic net.
   
3. Use the boutonniere obtained for answering the DUONET survey to make the Dilbees less aggressive and coax them into your traps.
   
4. Get creative with your guild skills and elemental spells! But do be mindful that Professor Phila will be extremely upset if anything happens to her precious Drilbees.

REWARD: A small gift will appear in your inbox! Interact with the notification and the reward will materialize in your inventory, or even right in front of you. It can be a reasonable amount of daiya, a single-use potion or panacea, a common crafting material… Or, the game could glitch and give you x10 rats.

FAILURE: Beestings.

QUEST: DADDY, WHERE'S MY AMEX BLACK CARD?

Mr. Gregoire, a wealthy art connoisseur from a neighbouring island, has decided to make the Avisle City reconstruction effort his latest pet project, and is hosting an auction night to fund his philanthropy. But it seems… something nefarious is afoot! Mr. Gregoire claims to have received intelligence that that one of the auction pieces will be stolen the night of the auction, and it's up to you to stop it.

The piece in question is the highly coveted Frog Maiden, and in order to prevent its theft, you must attend Mr. Gregoire's party. Unfortunately, only the richest and wealthiest residents have an invite. The host will grant you an invite, but that one percenter walk and talk is all up to you. And you better have it down pat, you don't want to thieves to catch on!

Those with good investigative skills will eventually find the culprits in the wine cellar, attempting to smuggle the Frog Maiden into a casket. While they won't put up much of a fight, they are quick to flee the scene.

REWARD: One kiss to be placed upon the Frog Maiden's lips. (Will award you daiya randomly between the amounts of 1 to 100.)

FAILURE: The Frog Maiden is lost to history…

Dungeons

Permanent Dungeons will be available here at all times, including for TDMs! Players that participate in dungeons with new characters or prospective players will receive additional rewards–think of it as a mentor bonus. We won't be organizing random parties for permanent dungeons, but you can always plan an outing with your random roommates, etc. Event Dungeons will be tied into the monthly events directly, and are limited to that event, and won't be listed here.

ICly, you can also always assume characters are randomized together, even if OOCly they are not. As far as threading with your party goes, we'll leave this flexible. You can enter a dungeon with a group of four and do a group log where everyone mingles together, or otherwise structure it however you like.

Reminder: dungeons require a party to complete–basically, you can't enter them and reap the rewards without at least one companion!

OFF WORLD

QUEST: CREB

The storms and tides have blown in hundreds of crabs into the island of Crane City. They are crawling everywhere along the coastline, not afraid to pinch any stranger that treads too close (as crabs do), thus making the walkable areas of the beach no longer pedestrian-friendly. This is good news to nobody except the crab shacks dotting the shores.

The beach rangers are shorthanded both trying to harvest what crabs they can, and to return the excess crustaceans to the ocean to preserve the ecosystem. Questtakers will be armed with whatever can be scrounged up from around town, from nets to plastic buckets to cardboard shoeboxes for the truly desperate. Careful not to get pincered, it hurts like a b*tch!

REWARD: Crab legs for days in the OFF world. A mid-tier weapon in the ON world that functions as a bludgeon... probably. Some would argue it's actually a sword-type implement. It can be easily traded for daiya, but why would you not want one to keep in your inventory forever.

QUEST: KDRAMA-RAMA

Popular seasonal web drama Summertime Sweet Exes currently filming at Gruidae University is in need of extra hands for the last episode of the season! Help is needed backstage (lighting, make-up, security for those hordes of obsessive fans, etc) and onstage (as extras or if you’re lucky(?) as last minute fill-ins for vital roles: jealous ex, weepy parental-in-law, long lost twin, reincarnated lover, etc).

And if you’re really feeling adventurous... well, it turns out that Director Changsub might have lost the script? Feel free to help rescue it from desperate fans opportunistic thieves, or slip into the director’s chair while he’s occupied and display your creative genius instead?

REWARD: A middling amount of cash and your name on the end screen credits in the OFF world. A one-use spell item in the ON world that will help hide the wearer from mid-level monster mobs.

ON WORLD

QUEST: ROOMBA OF DOOMBA

There’s been a little competition in Innovation Hall to see who can build the best machine... for spring cleaning! Apparently the citizens of Avisle got a bit crazy and recently threw a big party(?). That’s definitely why the city is a complete mess, it definitely has nothing to do with an apocalyptic storm(?).

Anyhow, everyone in Duocaeli knows a little magic goes a long way, but unfortunately the spirit of rivalry has gotten out of hand. One of teams has accidentally built and unleashed an absolute cleaning unit, an enormous disc-like contraption that has gone mad with cleaning power. It will not stop cleaning and is completely unresponsive to its programmed controls. While the streets are definitely getting cleaner, the bot is also sucking up installations such as lamp posts and perfectly serviceable benches that have been merely tipped over during the “partying” prior. It may also scan your character and identify them as a Mess, and attempt to smother them under its rotating tread.

The machine needs to be stopped for the safety of the city and its citizens. Players may attempt to dismantle the machine but will find many of their spells and weapons being vacuumed up into the monstrosity—within a limited range of effect. Players may also try to corral the roomba towards areas of actual rubble! Once the contraption has expended its cleaning fury it will eventually die down (this may take literally all day).

REWARD: A generous sum of daiya for your troubles and a 1:100(?) scale model of the evil roomba you just put down. It doesn’t actually clean because it’s just a display piece, help.

FAILURE: If your character gets run over by the roomba they will be actually pancaked, i.e. they will appear as flat as a sheet of paper for 2 hours. They can still walk around but will find interacting with other objects incredibly difficult, if not impossible. Thankfully it isn’t painful, just embarrassing.

QUEST: PAPARAZZI BY LADY GAGA

Gardener Lila is set on helping her former husband, Luno, move on, and she knows just the way to do it. She's requesting photos of beautiful people in Avisle City that she can show Luno to encourage him to get excited about love again. Lila will be providing a polaroid camera, and the photos should ideally come with the consent of the person being photographed, but... she's not about to judge.

In order to ensure that she only receives photographs of the most beautiful people, she's cast an enchantment on the camera that will rank their physical appearance on a scale of 10 on the polaroid once it's printed. Rank based on what scale, you ask? Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder! You don't necessarily need to share that information with whomever you photograph though.

REWARD: A polaroid camera (enchantment not included), and a potion that makes one person friendlier for one hour.
