In the OFF world, Domus Hosus (also known as Dodo) is home sweet home—or rather, it's free housing, so you may as well take advantage of it. More details on Dodo can be found on the Locations page.

A suite is typically made of 3-4 different rooms. Those characters will be expected to share a comfortable living space, including a lounge (outfitted with a seating area, a television, and other common appliances), kitchen, and one bathroom. As rooms around the house shuffle from time to time, suite residents will routinely change. We'll indicate when rooms get moved around, so check back from time to time!

Other

Individual room and suite keys are digitally scanned by using a character's phone, and change as rooms are swapped about. It's possible to let guests in (or to steal someone's device and use it), but keys cannot be copied.

Living elsewhere is possible, but there's some OOC conveniences to staying in Dodo and IC incentive to stay: real estate prices in Crane City are prohibitively expensive, every landlord is predatory, magic is most readily available in Dodo, and the food's perfectly serviceable.

Characters may rent out extra spaces both on and offline as hideaways, offices, etc, but Dodo house is always the easiest, safest place to live overall!
