Wind whale. Large flying creatures that grow to the size of a house once fully matured.Wind whales rarely interact with people as they spend most of their time sailing the skies, but they do return to the Dandelion Fields once every season to birth and raise their young. Newborn calves are born unable to fly, and are around the same size as a fully grown human. Due to their deep connection with the sky and value of their feathers, they are respected and honored by the people of Avis Isle, and attempting to kill or harm one is considered a punishable offense.

Gemwalker. These small golems house the spirits of dead travelers, and are made up of crystal shards from Aria's Grove. It can take decades for that spirit to gather enough shards to become a fully formed gemwalker. The golems don't cause much harm, but are known to evoke strong emotions out of any travelers that pass them by. It's said that the emotions they elicit are the same ones they felt at the moment of their spirit's passing.

Hummingshrew. A small rodent that is found throughout Avis Isle. It's known for its love of flowers, and wherever there is a large flock of them, the smell of flowers usually follows. Because of their love of sweet smells, they're drawn to adventurers wearing perfume or carrying flowers and will often try to burrow under their clothes. On the flip side, if they stumble across anyone with a displeasing scent, they'll attempt to peck them into submission with their beaks.

Bloobette. Ranging from the size of your hand to a boulder, these cat-like creatures are all gelatin, all the time, aside from their feathery gills and dark pearly eyes. While they may look sweet and harmless, Bloobettes can absorb objects into their bodies that are triple their weight, and have on occasion also absorbed helpless adventurers. The sensation is reportedly said to be akin to ‘putting your face in breathable jelly. It won’t kill you, but it feels super weird’. Bloobettes will run off at the first sign of trouble and can reach extremely high speeds, even after absorbing a literal treasure trove of objects–including your weapons and valuables!

Blue Chamomile. Most often found in the Windhaven Woodlands, these flowers are known to aid sleep and have some rejuvenating properties as well, if taken as a tea. They are best harvested in pairs as they feed off positive energy. Once their petals start glowing, the plant is ready to be plucked—they'll quickly reach maturity if witness to gestures of affection or music!
